Meet Your Hosts

Hi! We are Chris and Mary Alice, the owners/operators of the Iguana House.

We live in Belize with our two black labs, having spent the last 20 years in Colorado.

We love to spend our free time camping and fishing in the wilderness.

Along the way, we got hooked on permit fishing. The love of permit fishing truly is the main reason the Iguana House came to be.

Aside from fishing, we also love to restore and care for beautiful, rustic properties; and we are constantly making improvements to the Iguana House.
